I know on amazon in the reviews of all the blu ray burners and if you google "playing blu rays on Macs", the common understanding seems to be Macs dont play blu rays even with a blu ray player, it seems usually, you still have to download a separate program to actually read the blu rays, kinda like you have to get a separate program to burn them aswell, like toast.
